Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

For LANA ERP Cloud SaaS Application

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and acceptable behaviours for users of the ERP Cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform provided by LANA TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD. By accessing or using our ERP SaaS platform, you agree to comply with this AUP.

1. Permitted Use

You may use our ERP application solely for:

  • Managing and automating your business operations.
  • Functions such as accounting, inventory, payroll, CRM, POS, and HRMS.
  • Lawful, ethical, and internal business purposes.
2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the software to:

a. Violate Laws

  • Engage in fraud, money laundering, or other illegal activity.
  • Distribute illegal or harmful content.

b. Compromise Security

  • Attempt unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or systems.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the software or its infrastructure.
  • Upload viruses, malware, ransomware, or other harmful code.

c. Misuse Resources

  • Use excessive bandwidth, storage, or processing power beyond agreed limits.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to overload the system.

d. Infringe Intellectual Property

  • Copy, reproduce, or reverse engineer the software.
  • Violate copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights.
3. Account and User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • All activities conducted under your account(s).
  • Keeping login credentials secure and confidential.
  • Ensuring all users within your organization follow this AUP.
4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Uptime Guarantee: Usually 99%
  • Support Response Time: Defined tiers (business hours, priority response for paid tiers).
5. Data Ownership & Portability

Customer owns their data. Upon termination:

  • Provider must allow data export.
  • Data will be deleted after a defined grace period (e.g., 30 days). This grace period allows users to recover or access their data if they change their minds or need additional time.
6. Payment & Subscription Terms
  • Billing Cycle: Monthly, annually, or pay-as-you-go.
  • Overages or Add-ons: May be billed separately.
  • Refunds: Non-existent after a trial period.
7. Suspension or Termination

Provider can suspend service if:

  • Payment fails.
  • Customer violates the Acceptable Use Policy.

Customers can terminate any time, but:

  • Refunds may not be given.
  • Exporting data before termination is the customer’s responsibility.
8. Third-Party Integrations

If you use third-party plugins, APIs, or services with our ERP:

  • You are responsible for any data sharing or processing that occurs.
  • We are not liable for third-party system failures or breaches.
9. Monitoring & Enforcement

We may:

  • Monitor use of the system to ensure compliance.
  • Suspend or terminate your account without notice for violations.
  • Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities.
10. Changes to the Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
